AniMagic Benji My Best Friend
A little West Highland Terrier with big appeal. Benji My Best Friend is the latest pet to pop out of the Animagic stable. A winner at the Toy Fair Best New Toys for 2011 event, he’s set to top the popularity charts.
What makes Benji stand out from the other electronic pets? Unlike your average interactive fluffy friend, this little chap has sensors all over his body. These make him incredibly responsive and realistic. He knows when you enter the room and will sit up, bark and wag his tail in greeting - just like the real thing. Tickle or stroke any part of his body and he’ll move accordingly. Tickle his chin and Benji will cock his head to one side. Stroke his back and he’ll wiggle his ears then waggle his eyebrows. It’s ingenious stuff!
Teach Benji nifty tricks using the collar and rope included in the box. Pop the rope in his mouth and he’ll try and pull it back whilst making growling noises. Play with him and he’ll play back.
Benji My Best Friend is designed to be just that. He’s aimed at little girls aged 5 and above. If you’re daughter is determined to own a real dog, Benji is the next best thing. He requires lots of attention and love so is ideal for teaching kids about the responsibilities involved with the real thing.
Animagic Benji My Best Friend is set to hit the shelves in August. Take him home for around £70.
