Crayola Glow Station

Crayola Glow StationPowered by light, the Crayola Glow Station is like a modern version of Etch-a-Sketch with a twist. It’s best described as a drawing station that allows kids to create glow-in-the-dark works of art.

The drawing instrument comes in the form of a light wand that, when placed on or near the special glowing canvas surface, reacts with it to make illuminated pictures. The canvas begins to glow when the lights are switched off and drawings last for around 30 seconds before starting to fade, so there’ s no mess or fuss involved. If desired, the board can be wiped clear instantly by turning the lights on.

Children can make freehand illustrations using just their imagination, or get plenty of inspiration from the set’s varied contents. The 2 stencil sheets in the pack include space scenes with shuttles, moon, asteroids and astronauts, or wild animals for more down-to-earth pictures.

Alternatively, swipe the light wand over the textured light sheets to reveal patterns such as spider webs and animal prints. A more three-dimensional creation can be achieved by layering the textured sheets over the stencils. There’s also a crystal attachment for the light wand that’s perfect for drawing sparkling stars.

The Crayola Glow Station is fully portable so kids can create wherever they go. Requires 3 x AAA batteries. Dimensions: 45 x 7.2 x 35cm.

Suitable for ages 6 and up, the Crayola Glow Station is available at around £19.99.
