11th Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver
Actor Matt Smith took our screens by storm this year as he stepped into David Tennant’s shoes as the Eleventh Doctor Who.
Sci-fi fans of all ages know that the century-hopping doctor would get nowhere without his sonic screwdrivers, and the Time Lord has had them in several designs over the years. It is a multi-purpose piece of kit, the various settings easily controlled at the push of a thumb.
This latest Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver was created for the eleventh Dr Who inside the TARDIS console. (You may remember that the previous device became destroyed during a battle in Leadworth village with Prisoner Zero.)
Like the 11th Doctor himself, the newest Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver is Gallifreyan. It is larger than previous models, and has spring-loaded extending action. Press the button on the handle’s side to activate the LED and Sound FX in closed mode. Pop open the cap at the end of the Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver to find an extra button which will activate the light and sound effects when it is in full extension open mode.
Would-be Time Lords will love exploring the universe with this piece of kit – let their imaginations run riot! Priced at an affordable £15, the Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver takes three L1154 batteries.
Given the popularity of the hit TV series, the Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver is tipped as a must-have toy for boys this Christmas. Snap it up now to be sure you don’t disappoint your young earthling!
