Gone are the days of ceramic piggy banks that just sit on the shelf gathering dust. This little piggy is much more than just a money receptacle, as it also teaches baby about early numbers, counting, colours, animals and sizes.
Fisher Price has developed a range of Laugh & Learn products, which are designed to make learning fun by using sing-along songs and games. This bright bubblegum pink piggy helps babies learn through the use of songs, music, speech and activities that respond directly to them.
Piggy comes with 10 numbered and coloured coins that baby can drop into his bank slot while counting along. The coins are different sizes and come in pairs - the small ones have pictures of baby animals whilst the larger ones feature images of mummy ones - so baby can learn about size and identify animals by performing one simple activity.
There’s a power button on piggy’s back that allows you to select either his learning or counting side. Choose the learning side and he’ll count along, make a funny noise or play the Old MacDonald tune each time a coin is dropped into his slot. Select the music side and baby will hear a range of tunes or a pig noise. Press piggy’s snout and she’ll sneeze and say ‘Excuse me!’
All piggy’s features have been designed with little fingers in mind, including the big door in his side that makes it easy to insert or remove coins.
