Children can experience a busy day in the life of a fully working farm with this brand new themed set from LEGO’s City range.
Kids will have plenty to keep their fingers and minds occupied as they construct the barn, cow shed, large red grain silo, yellow riding mower and big blue double rear-wheeled tractor (which comes with its own tilting trailer) to get ready for harvest time.
The LEGO Farm set is well-equipped for role play with detailed minifigures including a farmer, a girl and a farmhand, who can ride around on the mower or perform maintenance jobs with his own portable workbench and tiny drill.
There’s also a couple of animals to play with - a cat, mouse and dog. The 2 black and white cows included in the pack have heads that can be moved up and down, plus removable horns.
There are a few little touches that make this set stand out and appear realistic; the roof panels on the barn can be raised and inside there’s a trapdoor, ladder, birdhouses and even a little mousehole at the side. Meanwhile, they’ll discover it’s possible to empty the silo using the sliding mechanism at its base. The hook and winch included in the set allows children to move hay bales to the barn and tilt the trailer, which has opening side panels and a hatch at the back.
