LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple - Set 2507
Keep the Dragon Sword of Fire from falling into the hands of the evil skeleton army and keep control of the 4 Spinjitzu weapons! Playability, beautiful design and excellent accessories make the LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple (Set No. 2507) one of this year’s must-have toys.
New for 2011, it’s the biggest Ninjago set so far. Aimed at little boys aged 8 and up and boasts impressive attention to detail, weapons and super cool minifigures.
There are 1174 pieces in the set, which will keep little fingers fully occupied. The build experience is absorbing and lots of fun and the end result impressive. The LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple has 3 floors and can be split into 2 and slides apart easily. Push the green button to close it after play. The design is intricate and there’s alot of detail in and around the temple. The printed dragon design on the screens, lanterns and the little fire torches are nice touches that add to the exotic look and feel of the dojo. There’s alot of furniture inside, include sword stands, a martial arts practice station and meditation area.
Outstanding features include the fully poseable dragon, which is practically the size of the temple and has stunning red and yellow wings, long claws and a moveable tale. Did we mention it can spit fire balls? Pop Kai into the seat on his back for badass battle scenes.
The arsenal of weapons almost steals the show. LEGO certainly haven’t been stingy on that front. Weapon accessories include: nunchucks of lightning, ice shards, 2 daggers, spears, a thunderbolt, bone axe, staff, 3 golden swords, 2 silver swords, 3 black swords and a scythe of quakes.
There are 7 beautifully detailed minifigs inside the box: Sensei Wu with new black robe, Zane, Kai, Nya, Lord Garmadon, Samukai and Kruncha –a new addition to the Ninjago sets.
Priced at around £90, the LEGO Ninjago Fire Temple has enough whistles and bells to justify the cost and is bound to be on Christmas lists across the land. If you have a Ninjago fan and want to score a big hit, look no further.
