LEGO Star Wars Ewok Attack - Set 7956
Cute but courageous, the Ewoks know how to use their natural surroundings to make a mockery of the Empire’s troops. New for 2011, the LEGO Star Wars Ewok Attack (Set No. 7956) is a fun build with alot of playability that will go down well with kids aged 7-12 and parents who have fond memories of Return of the Jedi.
The treetop hideout is the star of this 166-piece LEGO set and has some pretty cool little features. It’s an ingenious little building that stands firm on 2 separate tiles and boasts a secret compartment, stone launcher, flick firing logs, a log trap and retractable ladder. The hideout is a simple build that measures over 15cm wide and 10cm tall when constructed. LEGO Ewok Attack is less about the build and more about role playing scenarios.
Next up we have the imperial speeder bike, which is instantly recognisable from the classic film and measures over 12cm long. The attention to detail is good and the bike boasts handlebars, foot pads and dinky guns on either side.
The set includes 3 minifigs: 1 imperial scout trooper with blaster plus the Ewok Logray who comes with headpiece, crossbody bag and spear. Finally, there’s the Ewok warrior Tokkat with his green headdress and bow and arrow.
Priced at around £25.99, LEGO Star Wars Ewok Attack packs plenty of features into a small set, making it a bit of a bargain. If you want an impressive but inexpensive Christmas stocking filler, this is the way to fly.
