LEGO Star Wars General Grievous Starfighter
With the LEGO Star Wars General Grievous Starfighter, the basic scenario is that new Jedi Knight Nahdar Vebb has attacked the General as he was returning to his lair. It’s now up to the young Jedi to halt him in his tracks as he hits back at the Republic, and stop the General and his loyal A4-D droid from fleeing in their starfighter. If you love Star Wars, you’ll know that these two have history - and this time it’s personal!
The LEGO Star Wars General Grievous Starfighter is set number 8095 in the range, and has 454 pieces. It's incredibly realistic design includes hidden, fold out, flick firing missiles and a cockpit which opens up to allow a pilot to sit inside. And you can rotate the back fin to create the landing gear.
This set also incorporates the General’s lair, complete with swivelling command chair and a lightsaber rack for his four lightsabers. Remember, he can wield all four at once! And he has a formidable resource in his starfighter, which measures 29cms long when fully built.
The LEGO General Grievous Starfighter comes with three minifigures, including General Grievous, A4-D droid (who is the General’s personal doctor) and Nahdar Vebb, along with plenty of cool weapons and accessories. The General Grievous minifigure has been improved since its 2007 incarnation, with larger feet and redesigned legs so he can stand independently even when clutching his lightsabers. The General Grievous Starfighter will help young children to develop construction skills, and is a great way of encouraging creative role play.
Star Wars fans from the age of eight will love the LEGO Star Wars General Grievous Starfighter, which retails from around £45.
