A realistic and impressively detailed curved representation of the real thing, Moon in My Room allows you to watch the 12 stages of the moon - from Waning Crescent to Waxing Gibbous and finally New Moon - unfold on your bedroom wall. Leave it on the automatic setting and sit back, or take matters into your own hands using the mini remote to manually control the process.
The whole process is illuminated by way of a built-in light sensor that allows you to see the magic unfold in sharp definition.
Designed to be mounted on a bedroom wall, the Moon allows you to choose from 3 different orientations and the pack includes wall mountings for an easy set-up. It also comes with an accompanying 15-minute CD giving the listener a guided audio tour of the Moon’s craters and seas as they watch the phases unfold. The CD also details interesting facts about the Moon and its special relationship with Earth.
The Moon is light sensitive so will automatically turn itself on in a dark room and off after 30 minutes to preserve battery life, although you can turn this feature off if you wish. It’s powered by 4 AA batteries with 2 AAA’s for the remote control but these aren’t included in the pack.
