WowWee has produced six different models in this range of thin, lightweight instruments, each with a different design, from grunge to country. But all feature the same active graphics technology. With no strings attached, you just have to touch the sensitive paper surface to rock out like a pro - the printed surface reacts to your skin.
Place your fingers on the fingerboard and strum your other hand across the pretend guitar strings. There are over 30 chords to learn, so there’s lots to keep children amused.
The ‘Perfect Play’ Mode incorporates the strains of three different hit songs. You can also use the Rhythm Mode to control the rhythm for each song, or the Freestyle function to strum real chords and compose songs.
There’s a built-in speaker with volume control, plus a line out for earphones or speakers, which aren’t included. You can also buy amps, straps and drums separately - create your own Paper Jamz Band!
The Paper Jamz Rock 3 Guitar comes in a striking black and white design, with songs including Born to be Wild, Mississippi Queen and Smoke on the Water. With its equally funky styling, the triangular Paper Jamz Rock 4 Guitar will play You Really Got Me, Godzilla and Blitzkrieg Bop.
The Paper Jamz Guitars are suitable for young rockers aged eight or older, and takes three AAA batteries, which are not supplied. The automatic shut-off means you won’t waste batteries.
