Professor Layton And Pandora's Box DS Game
The puzzle-solving professor is back – facing more danger and having more adventures in Professor Layton And Pandora's Box. Fans who enjoyed Professor Layton and the Curious Village will be glad to know the sequel brings much the same blend of cartoon exploration and puzzle-solving, and the same delightful characters.
You’ll find more mini-games and a memo-writing system for working on the trickier puzzles without pen and paper. This DS game has three new areas to explore, linked by the Molentary Express, the train which is your guide throughout.
Explore every place, look closely at each object and talk to NPCs who may have puzzles or clues, before continuing. There some 150 puzzles, aimed at testing hand-eye co-ordination, memory and maths, and three new mini-games to grapple with. Each correctly solved puzzle has its own reward.
This time, the Prof and apprentice Luke are investigating the murder of the former’s mentor, Dr Schrader. Key puzzles move forward this storyline – identifying the killer and discovering whether Pandora's Box was involved. This mysterious box is rumoured to kill whoever opens it …
Like all the best sequels, Pandora's Box offers a bit more of everything you enjoyed first time round, with a bigger, deeper story, more puzzles, more NPCs and a sharper interface. Not to mention more and better animated scenes.
Entertaining and challenging at the same time, Professor Layton And Pandora's Box trains your brain the fun way. Prices start at under £30.
