Rubik's 360 Puzzle

Rubik’s 360 PuzzleA completely spherical addition to the Rubik’s stable of spin-offs, the intricately designed Rubik's 360 is a very different puzzle in comparison to the famous cube.

Previous incarnations revolved around twisting and turning sections in an often futile attempt to return the object to its original state. The 360 moves away from that idea and is instead based on controlling balls inside rotating spheres, testing the user’s dexterity, spatial awareness and problem-solving skills.

The Rubik's 360 is comprised of a transparent plastic outer sphere containing an inner sphere with yet another 3 unfixed spheres inside. These 3 inner spheres hold 6 little differently coloured balls. Each ball has a home in a little correspondingly coloured dome on the outer sphere. Confused yet?

The aim of the game is to use the force of gravity to guide the 6 coloured balls out of the holes in the interior spheres and return them to their designated domes on the outer sphere. The catch lies in the fact that there are only 2 holes in the middle sphere.

If it’s all proving to be a bit too frustrating, users do have the option of activating the locking mechanism, which allows you to secure any balls already in their domes and have a break without upsetting the whole thing and having to start again.

There is of course a knack to completing the puzzle and just like the original cube, there’s only one possible solution, which makes the Rubik's 360 challenging to say the least.

Suitable for ages 8 and up, the Rubik's 360 is available for around £14.99.
