There’s plenty of material here for children to enact a wide range of role-playing scenarios for a convincing caravanning experience. The side and roof of the caravan opens to reveal a compact but fully kitted-out kitchen, containing light blue cupboards, drawers, stove, sink, cooking utensils and a fold-out ironing board.
The seating area can be converted into a double bed and coffee table, with an ingenious little design feature in the form of 2 fold-down bunk beds attached to the inside of the roof. The little shower room comes complete with fold-down loo and hand basin, so the family can enjoy vacation time with all the creature comforts of a house.
The set comes with over 25 thoughtful accessories, including mock games for any rainy days and maps so the family can explore the countryside. When it’s time for bed there are a couple of sleeping bags on hand to keep the family warm as the temperature dips at night.
The caravan is designed to be towed by the Family Saloon Car, which is available as a separate purchase, with a limited number of retailers selling both car and caravan as a package. Figures are not included.
