Just like a real animal, Toffee needs constant attention. And, like a live pony, he raises his head, makes neighing sounds, can move his ears and opens his eyes. When he wants to play, he blinks, and a shake of the head means it’s feeding time! Give him a carrot and watch him gently chew it.
Like any pet, Toffee the Pony needs grooming, and he loves it! There are happy sounds as you brush his gorgeous coat. He will fall asleep as you cuddle him when he’s tired. He also needs to be calmed down sometimes, as he can find loud noises startling. And he’s also sensitive to light and movement. In fact, the thing about this toy is you never know how or when Toffee is going to react next.
Toffee the Pony takes four AA batteries, and is suitable for horse-mad youngsters aged four or older. He retails for a reasonable £40-£50.
But, thanks to TV advertising, Toffee looks set to be one of the must have toys for Christmas 2010, and set to be in short supply as we get closer to the big day, and little misses everywhere start demanding one. Lasso one before they all gallop off the shelves!
