Toy Story Operation
With Toy Story 3 taking cinemas by storm, Toy Story Operation is a sure-fire winner this Christmas. If your kids enjoyed the movie, they’ll love this modern twist on the classic game of Operation.
He may be a space-age hero, but Buzz Lightyear has been in a bit of a tight spot lately, thanks to Radar Rash, asteroids and the Battered Blaster. Still, a spot of surgery should be just the thing to fix him up, and this is where you can help - it’s all Buzz fans to the rescue, and all hands to the operating theatre! You could find yourself working on his crunched communicator, or his broken laser.
But, mind how you go. One wrong move playing Toy Story Operation and you’ll bring on an asteroid attack and set off the lasers. This hilarious game is huge fun, but it’ll also help teach young children finger co-ordination. It’s literally a delicate operation!
Press the nose when you’re done to find out whether the surgery was successful, then listen as the game tells you what to do next.
Each Toy Story Operation box contains your ‘patient’, a gameboard featuring Buzz, that all-important pair of tweezers, 24 cards, a dozen ‘Funatomy’ plastic parts and fun money. There’s also a storage drawer to keep all the Funatomy parts handily together.
To make life easier, no assembly is needed so you can enjoy Toy Story Operation straight away.
Budding medics aged six and older can get stuck into this game, priced at a reasonable £15. But this game is tipped to be one of the must have games for Christmas 2010, especially given the popularity of the film. So leave it too late and you risk disappointment.
